We LOVE Carissa. I wasn’t able to nurse in the postpartum unit right after labor/delivery.. so I was connected with Carissa, and on her second visit, we were successful. She continued to stop by as our goals evolved/grew. She’s encouraged us and educated us (and cheered for us when we met those goals). We can’t recommend her enough, and we’ll be staying in contact with her even beyond our sessions. THANK YOU, Carissa!!

I had the best experience with Carissa! She was extremely patient, supportive, and knowledgeable. She made us feel so comfortable and calm. My son was having issues latching and I was given so many different opinions since leaving the hospital as of why he may be having issues. I spoke with Carissa about our concerns and what we were told and she went through every possible option and gave us resources and a plan on what we could do to narrow out what the problem could be. On her first visit she was able to walk me through good technique and positioning to help both me and my son feel comfortable nursing. With a few tries, he was! I was shocked because I was thinking it may never happen. Her encouragement and support helped give me the confidence that I could successfully do it on my own. With practice and patience, my son has started to successfully latch and nurse more and more willingly over the past 2 weeks. We are very appreciative of her and the kindness and support she showed us and we’re so thankful to have had her come and help us through this journey. So glad we used this service!

Scheduled a few visits with Carissa before and after delivery. She was so helpful and informative! Showed me how to get a deeper latch, assisted in sizing and the best way to use my pump, and helped me to achieve my breastfeeding goals. Would definitely recommend and will be using for future pregnancies as well!!
